Our Beginning

Hathorn Funeral Home was built and established in July of 2007 and is a private, family-owned business in Mississippi. Mr. David Hathorn, a pillar of the Marion County community, was the original manager. Families have been familiar with his compassionate and professional service for years. That trademark service is carried out today and is why so many entrust Hathorn Funeral Home to guide them through their most difficult of times.

Our Facility

Our funeral home is a state-of-the-art, modern facility equipped to meet the needs of all families. There is a comfortable parlor area for visitation and a bright and open lobby area to accommodate large crowds of visiting friends. The chapel is spacious with easily accessible outside and center aisles. It is equipped with video capabilities for a special and personal touch for services. Hathorn Funeral Home is ADA accessible.
