Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Zellie Lou Singley, 87, of Columbia, who passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Interment will be at Society Hill Cemetery. Bro. Mark McArthur will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home Chapel.

As a longtime resident of Marion County, Mrs. Zellie enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Goss Baptist Church. Known for her feisty and outspoken personality, one of her favorite past times included playing bingo with her siblings. She also enjoyed traveling, sewing, and eating out. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Singley was preceded in death by her Spouse of 67 years, John Singley; her Parents, Robert & Timmie Butler; one Son, John L. Singley; one Great Grandson, Colton Singley; and one Step-Granddaughter, Barbara Thornhill.

She is survived by her Daughter, Melinda Thornhill (Randy), of Kokomo; two Granddaughters, Tina Lambert Thomas, of Moselle, Tammy Popwell (Zach), of Foxworth; two Grandsons, Steven Thornhill, of Foxworth, Johnathan Singley (Bridggett), of Kiln; three Great Grandchildren, Makaylee Thomas, Hunter Singley, Caden Singley; and one Great-Granddaughter on the way, Elissa Brooke Singley.

Pallbearers will be Zach Popwell, Steven Thornhill, Randy Thornhill, Edwin Craft, Johnathan Singley, and Hunter Singley.
