Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Oak Grove Apostolic Church in Foxworth for Yancy Branton Turnage, 48, of Foxworth, who passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at his residence. Interment will be at Oak Grove Apostolic Church Cemetery in Foxworth. Pastor Burl Livingston and Rev. Felix Arnold will officiate the services.

The Turnage family will receive friends on Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 am up until the hour of service at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Apostolic Church.

Yancy leaves behind a profound legacy of love. An avid outdoorsman, Yancy found immense joy in hunting, particularly coon hunting, and fishing. Yet, his greatest pleasure came from sharing precious moments with family and friends. To have known Yancy was indeed to love him, and his warm spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Shelton Ray Turnage; and his Sister, Erica Turnage.

He is survived by his Son, Colby Turnage, of Foxworth; his Daughter, Erica Turnage, of Foxworth; his Mother, Theresa Branton Turnage, of Foxworth; one Brother, Cade Turnage, of Foxworth; and a number of Nieces & Nephews.

Mr. Turnage will be carried to his final place of rest by those honored to serve as Pallbearers: Adam Ward, Billy Ward, Jesse Reagan, Timothy Branton, Caleb Morgan, and Cole Morgan. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Isaac Cox and Jacob Buchanan.
