Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at New Bunker Hill Cemetery for Winston Ray Allen, 91, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021. Interment will be at New Bunker Hill Cemetery, and Grandson T.J. Harvey will officiate.

As a longtime resident of Marion County, Mr. Allen served this great country for twenty years in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a Korean War Veteran. Mr. Allen loved to travel abroad and throughout the states, always coming back to Yellowstone National Park. He always enjoyed playing games, often times being the life of the party; if it crossed his mind, it came out his mouth. He had great love for his family and his little dog, Trixie. He will forever be missed and loved by those who knew him.

Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his Spouse, Dorothy Earls Allen; Father, Flave Allen; Mother, Alice Allen Evans; one Son, William Rex Allen; one Brother, Gordon Allen; two Sisters, Joyce Graham, Billie Lowery.

He is survived by Daughter, Kathy Harvey (Joe); one Grandson, T.J. Harvey; one Granddaughter, Jordan McNabb (Chance); two Great-Grandchildren, Chanley McNabb, Sawyer McNabb and a number of Nieces and Nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans Outreach in care of the V.A. Home in Collins, Mississippi.
