Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for William Ray Turnage, 89, of Carriere, who passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his residence. Interment will be at Foxworth Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Tyler Chavis will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his Spouse, Beachel Angelina Simmons Turnage;  Son, Shawn Kevin Turnage;  Father, Curtis Odell Turnage;  Mother, Frances Evelyn Thornton Turnage.

He is survived by his Daughter, Cathy Disbrow of Carriere, MS;  five Grandchildren, Brian Disbrow (Tasha), Adam Disbrow (Allison), Alexis Shipley (Kenny), Kacie Turnage and Jacob Turnage;  Brother, Reggie Turnage (Pam);  5 Great Grandchildren;  and a host of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Glyn Simmons, James Simmons, David Turnage, Jeff DeLancey, Cody Smith, Jacob Turnage, and Joey Turnage. Honorary pallbearers will be .
