William “Tommy” H. McNeese Jr., 79, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at his residence.

He was self-employed as a house painter. He was a hard worker and enjoyed hunting. He loved telling stories about his younger days. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Tom” H. McNeese Sr. and Ada V. Sylvest McNeese; sister, Nancy “Nan” Elbert; and brother, Rickey McNeese.

Survivors include his wife, Linda McNeese; children, Michele McAllister (Gilbert), Stacey Peavy (Dale), Adam Fadden, Wendy McKenzie, Dustin McNeese and Carrie Rayner; sister, Janet Stewart; brother, Chris McNeese (Tracey); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
