Wilda Faye Prine Panks, 68, of Carson, passed away Monday, October 12, 2026, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss, Mississippi

Faye was born in Columbia, Mississippi, on June 4, 1958, to A.J. and Sylvia Prine. Faye later moved to Louisiana, where she lived for several years, before returning to Mississippi and remained there until her passing. Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking for her customers at various restaurants in both Louisiana and Mississippi.

Faye had a deep love for her family, who meant so much to her. She also enjoyed playing games on her computer and staying connected with friends through social media. In her spare time, she could often be found scrolling through Facebook, keeping up with friends and enjoying the connections she made with others.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia and A.J. Prine; her first husband, Henry Bardwell; her second husband, August Panks; four brothers, O'Neal Prine, Ralph Prine, Robert Prine, and Jerry Prine; and one sister, Beatrice Ernest.

She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Martin; one sister, Roberta Broom (Carroll); one grandchild, Summer Martin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Faye will be held at a later date.
