Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Wanda Cheryl Buckley, 62, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Asbury Hospice Home. Interment will be at Society Hill Cemetery in Oakvale. Rev Mark McArthur will officiate the services. Sheena Weatherford will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Ms. Wanda was a lifelong resident of Marion County.  She worked for the county for 45 years, was a member of Goss Baptist Church, and was a 1977 graduate of Columbia High School.  She loved her family and cherished her pets.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cody Buckley, Sr.; Mother, Nell Bourne Buckley; Brother, Michael Buckley, Sr. (Sandy).

She is survived by her brother, Cody Buckley, Jr. (Janet); Nephew, Michael Buckley of Columbia, MS; two Nieces, Cory Buckley of Columbia, MS and Lauren McCay (Reid) of Hattiesburg, MS; two great-nieces, Maggie Townsend and Katherine McCay; two great-nephews, JayBuck Townsend and Gavin McCay.

Pallbearers will be Michael Buckley, Cody Buckley Jr., JayBuck Townsend, Payton Burge, Gordon Fortenberry, and Kenny Robertson.
