Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia, MS, for Wanda Gail Bankston, 62, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at University Medical Center. Interment will be at Cedar Grove in Columbia. Bro. Tommy Broom and Bro. Jay Carney will officiate the services. Demetra Carney will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Birch Otis Bankston, Sr.; Mother, Mary Ratcliff Bankston; Nephew, Trafton Rowley.

She is survived by her Brother, Birch Bankston, Jr. (Debra); two Sisters, Sheila Stringer and Becky Williamson (Gerald); three Nephews, Neil Stringer (Melissa) and Matthew Rowley, Joshua Bankston (Shelby); one niece Stephanie Stringer (Ryan).

Pallbearers will be Neil Stringer, Joshua Bankston, Matt Rowley, Brodi Rowley, Maddax Rowley, and Kolby Stringer. Honorary pallbearers will be Kamron Stringer, Gerald Williamson, and Ryan Stringer.
