Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Velma Julia Rollins, 84, of Kokomo, Mississippi who passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Interment will be at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Stogner will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 and on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 10:00 AM until service at 11:00 AM at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Julia was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was member of North Columbia Baptist Church. Mrs. Rollins enjoyed reading her bible and was a true example of a Christian lady.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Rollins; son, Michael Wayne Rollins; father, David Oliver Edwards; mother, Elmira Rester Edwards; and grandson, David Shane Rollins.

She is survived by her two sons, David Rollins, Tommy Rollins (Kathy); one daughter, Juanita Rollins; five grandchildren, Bridget Rollins, Marybeth Fortenberry (Mitch), Clayton Bullock, Crstyal Lane (Zack), Jessica Henderson; five great grandchildren, David Jacob Rollins (Savanna), Hannah Rollins, Dylan Henderson, Hailey Henderson, Anthony Cox; and eight great great grandchildren, Ava Rollins, Addie Delancey, Ally Lane, Kadienece Lane, Abby Bullock, Summer Bullock, Dekota Hilburn, Kylan Cox.
