Funeral services will be held at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia, MS, on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 5:30 pm, for Timothy Rutledge, 53, of New Orleans, who passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022. Rev. Jeffery Jones will officiate the services.

Tim was born on August 8, 1968 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Wanda Jean Moss Rutledge and Zeno Lee Rutledge. He graduated from New Orleans Christian Academy and later went on to graduate at Delgado Community College with a business and management degree. He married Leah Renee Hill Campos and became a father to Michael Rutledge on October 30, 1993. Soon after on August 28, 1994, he welcomed his son, Matthew Rutledge, and his beautiful daughter, Brenah Rutledge Akula, on June 5, 1998. He was a devoted father and Papa, and he had a love for music. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Wanda Jean Moss Rutledge.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Luis Rutledge, Matthew Paul Rutledge; his daughter, Brenah Leigh Elizabeth Faith Rutledge Akula; his father, Zeno Lee Rutledge; and his grandchildren, Claude Mason Rutledge, Clyde Remi Lebeau Rutledge, Mila Valentina Thalia Heverly, Aubrie Elizabeth Rutledge, Elias Zechariah Akula.

Pallbearers will be Mathew Rutledge, Michael Rutledge, Jonathan Cupit, Renee Gibson, and Renard Gibson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Zeno Rutledge.
