Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 06, 2025 at Bunker Hill Baptist Church in Columbia for Suzanne Speights, 73, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Marion General Hospital. Interment will be at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia. Dr. Gary Roberson will officiate the services. Joe Lofton and Caleb Matheny will provide special music.

The Speights family will receive friends on Thursday morning, beginning at 9:00 am until the hour of service of 11:00 am at Bunker Hill Baptist Church.

Suzanne was a woman of extraordinary talent and unwavering dedication. A skilled baker, she crafted beautiful wedding cakes and shared her expertise through cake decorating classes. Her passions extended to nature, as she was a devoted honey bee keeper, and to the art of textiles, with her love of sewing and quilting. Suzanne cherished her beloved cat, Muju, and held her family dear. Suzanne's heart for service led her to mission work, where she dedicated a year to Egypt, six and a half years to Malaysia, and three years to Nigeria. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and global impact.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Charles Bullock; Mother, Willodean Turnage Bullock; and one Brother-In-Law, Ben Pittman.

She is survived by her Husband of fifty-three years, Charles Thomas "Tom" Speights, of Columbia; two Sons, Forrest Shaine Speights (Rebecca), Trever Speights (Jenniclair); one Daughter, Tishana Clarice Speights; two Sisters, Diane Pittman, Patrice Speed (Chuck); ten Grandchildren; five Great-Grandchildren; and a host of Nephews, Nieces, and Friends.
