A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Montgomery Cemetery in Summit, for Stanley "Stan" Morris Barnhill, 86, of Midland, Texas, who passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022. Rev. A.D. Gammill, Jr. will officiate the services.
Stanley "Stan" Morris Barnhill was born and raised in Larned, Kansas. He graduated from Larned Kansas High School and later moved to Midland, Texas in 1953. There he furthered his education and received multiple degrees in geology, photography, and computer science. Stan was a licensed pilot! In 1980 he met Patricia McKenzie in Del Rio, Texas, and a year later they married and returned to Midland. There he pursued work in the oil field and became a mud logger. In 1985 he began work as a computer analyst in Belleville, Illinois. Desiring a career in photography, he moved back to Midland in 1988. Stan was a Christian and a member of Kelview Heights Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Virgil Barnhill & Ethel Ford; and one Brother Roger Barnhill.
He is survived by his Wife, Patricia Barnhill; one Brother, David Barnhill; four Daughters LaVina Mitchell (Briley), Lorraine Chambless (Ben), Melinda Trowbridge (Tommy Trowbridge), Vicky Bryan-Perkins (Robert); two adopted Sons, Raphael Barnhill, Miguel Barnhill; eight Grandchildren; and nine Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Perkins, Tommy Trowbridge, Raphael Barnhill, Miguel Barnhill, Joshua Perkins, and Matthew Perkins.
