The Saucier family will receive guests on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm up until 8:00 pm at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Born in Columbia on May 1, 1948, Shirley’s roots ran deep in the community. Growing up, she learned the values of family and hard work while helping at her parents' country store, Morris' Grocery, in Foxworth. This early experience paved the way for a remarkable, 53-year career with Avon. As the dedicated District Manager for the area, Shirley’s passion and leadership earned her the prestigious "Ms. Albie Award" numerous times.

Beyond her professional achievements, Shirley’s truest joy was found in her family and simple pleasures. In her early days, she loved nothing more than going camping with her husband, Jim. Her heart belonged to her grandchildren; she selflessly raised and cared for them, pouring her love into their lives each opportunity she had. Shirley could always be found catching up on her favorite show, "Days of Our Lives." Her warmth, work ethic, and dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Ellis Morris & Helen Morris Holmes. She was survived by her Husband of 61 years, Jim Saucier, of Foxworth; her Son, Kevin Saucier (Dorothy), of Foxworth; her Daughter, Kim Ham (Haskel), of Foxworth; one Brother, Danny Morris (Denise), of Foxworth; one Sister, Sue Barber (Joe), of Columbia; five Grandchildren, Kent Saucier (Abby), of Columbia, Ty Saucier (Samantha), of Foxworth, Kaitlyn Ham, of Foxworth, Josh Ham (Ryley), of Foxworth, Sarah Kay Saucier, of Columbia; seven Great Grandchildren, Wesson Saucier, Paislee Saucier, Bristol Saucier, Harper Welch, Hazel Welch, Emma Raynes, Baelynn Case.

Mrs. Saucier will be carried to her final resting place by those honored to serve as Pallbearers: Josh Ham, Ryan Shirley, Mike McMillion, Haskel Ham, Kent Saucier, and Ty Saucier.
