Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Church of God Cemetery in Foxworth for Shirley Ray Purvis, 67, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, February 17.

Long time resident of Marion County, Mr. Purvis enjoyed gardening. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He had a number of cats, cows and other animals. He was a member of New Beginnings Church of Columbia. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Purvis was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Purvis; Mother, Clara Purvis; one Brother, John Purvis.
He is survived by his Wife, Sandra Purvis; six children; and a number of grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Boone, Todd Dixon, Daniel Turnage, Larry Coyne Jr., Noah Dement, Danny Ryals.
