Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Sheila Ann Blackwell, 73, of Hattiesburg, who passed away Monday, February 20, 2023. Interment will be at Lott Cemetery in Foxworth.  Reverend Darron Terrell will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Sheila was raised in Marion County and spent a great portion of her life here. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking. Sheila was an outgoing person that never met a stranger. She had a gift of being able to talk and connect with people. She touched many lives during her life.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sidney & Peggy Jo Blackwell; one Brother, Ronald Blackwell.

She is survived by her two Sons, Heath Nobles, of Hattiesburg,  Ragan Kendrick, of Ellisville; two Daughters, Dulcie Saulters, of Hattiesburg, Joanna Wade, of Petal; eight Grandchildren, Karla Stringer, of Foxworth, Derrick Holmes, of Foxworth, Collin Dao, of Bedford, Texas, Cole Saulters, of Petal, Dustin Wade, of Petal, Dalton Wade, of Petal, Sydney Wade, of Petal, Madison McDuffie, of Hattiesburg; two Brothers, Daniel Blackwell (Janice), of Foxworth, Scotty Blackwell, of Foxworth; five Nephews, Patrick Blackwell, of Foxworth, Cori Blackwell, of Iota, Louisiana, William & Hunter Stringer, of Foxworth, Pacey Fortenberry, of Foxworth; four Nieces, Paige Hilton, Carmen Ezell, Crissy Joyner, all three of Foxworth, Crystal Blackwell, of Laurel; and a number of Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Wade, Dalton Wade, Collin Dao, Cole Saulters, Patrick Blackwell, and Jody Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Frederick Ezell, Daniel Blackwell, Tim McCardle, Toby Minter, and Noah Patton.
