A private family Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia for Ruth Naomi Ramshur, 81, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at The Grove Nursing Home. Bro. Justin Cameron and Bro. Justin Rhodes will officiate.

Ruth was a long-time resident of Marion County. As a faithful member of Good Hope Baptist Church, she had a deep love for her Lord and her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by Husband of 68 years, Edmon L. Ramshur; her Parents, Vernon & Mylie Gay Smith Crawley; and one Brother, Lavay Crawley.

She is survived by two Sons, Darrell Ramshur (Janice) of Columbia Darnell Ramshur (Mechelle) of Columbia; five Grandchildren, Christie Rhodes (Justin), of Soso, Alicia Samson (Cris), of the Philippines, Robin Williams (Brad), of Vancleave, Magan Evans (Jeff), of Mathiston, Mandi Stringer (Mitch), of Columbia; and twelve Great Grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Crawley, Kevin Ramshur, Rodney Crawley, Tony Graham, William Anthony, Ricky Townsend, Brad Williams, Mitch Stringer, Cris Samson, Jeff Evans, Wesley Bass, and Eddie English.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Good Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
