Memorial services will be held at Hathorn Funeral Home Chapel on April 16th, 2021 for Russell L. Hollie, 57, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. Pastor Scott Carroll will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12pm - 1pm Friday April 16th at Hathorn Funeral Home Chapel. Service to start at 1pm in the Chapel.

Longtime resident of Marion County, Mr. Hollie enjoyed being outdoors fishing, as well as riding old country roads in his Chevy pickup. He was a very hard-working man and took great interest in building things. Mr. Hollie loved his wife immensely and took great care of his family. He accepted Christ in his life before he passed and has a special memory of being baptized in Bishop Carneys pool. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Hollie was preceded in death by Father, Willie M. Hollie, two Brothers, David Hollie, Steve Hollie, and Grandparents, Luther Turnage & Eloise Jones.

He is survived by his Wife of 38 years, Mary Ann Hollie; his Mother, Myrtle Hollie; two Daughters, Aleasha Carroll (Scott), Jessica Lee (Jason); three Grandsons, Dawson Newbery, Tyler Stogner, Adam Nichols; three Granddaughters, Destiny Conley, Emily Stogner, Janet Long; one Brother, Michael Hollie (Christina).
