Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Society Hill Baptist Church for Ruby Lee McAllister, 84, of Oak Vale, who passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Interment will be at Society Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Oak Vale.  Rev. Paul Young and Willie Martin will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Society Hill Baptist Church.

Ruby was a lifelong member of the Society Hill Community. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, reading, gospel music and growing her flowers. Ruby was a strong presence in the lives of many and will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, John D. McAllister; Father, Bufford Robbins; Mother, Alice Robbins; two Brothers, James G. Robbins, Oscar Ray Robbins; two Sisters, Jean Herring, Fanny Pearl Robbins.

She is survived by her Son, Russell McAllister; one Daughter, Neva McAllister; two Sisters, Kay Fortenberry, Marie Greenwood; three Grandsons, Josh McAllister, Tim Bradshaw, Jake Bradshaw; one Great Granddaughter, Cheyenne McAllister.

Pallbearers will be Frank Vice, Bubba Ostheimer, Bill Ray Jenkins, Kevin Baldwin, Shaun Robbins, Joe Robbins. Honorary pallbearers will be Berwick Ostheimer, George Jenkins, Maurice Wall.
