Mr. Ronald Jay Buckley, age 76, who passed from this life into the presence of GOD, Wednesday January 31, 2024 at Marion General Hospital.

He was born September 22, 1947 in Columbia, Mississippi. Prior to spending 40 plus years in management with Georgia Pacific in Goss, Mississippi he was a member of the Mississippi National Guard 890th Engineer Battalion. He then retired to fish/hunt and spend time with his precious grandson's while being a member of Goss Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father Al Buckley, mother Dot Buckley and Clytie Bourn Buckley, Brothers Thomas Wells and Ben Ray Buckley, Brother In-laws Stanley Johnson and Danny Barnes. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Barnes Buckley of 54 years. Daughter Angi (Mike) Earls of Goss, Mississippi. Sister Pegi Johnson of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Grandchildren Malori Ard, Madi (Landon) Ratliff, Parker Earls, Ryder Earls, Jagger Earls. Great grandchildren Blaire and Landry Ratliff of Columbia, Mississippi and a number of nieces and nephews.
