Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Darbun Mennonite Church in Kokomo for Roman Miller, 83, of Foxworth, who passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at The Grove. Interment will be at Darbun Mennonite Church Cemetery in Kokomo. Bro. Klaas Reimer, Bro. Lyndon Burkholder, and Bro. Jerald Witner will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Darbun Mennonite Church; and from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Darbun Mennonite Church.
Roman was born on October 11, 1939 in Hartville, Ohio. He was married to his Wife, Barbara Miller on October 20, 1960, and they were married for 53 years. Roman was an avid bird watcher and put many puzzles together. He also reported the weekly rainfall to the local newspaper for many years. He was a member of Darbun Mennonite Church in Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Barbara Miller; his Son, Dwayne Miller; his Parents, Noah & Fannie Stutzman Miller; one Foster Daughter, Tina Haven; three Brothers, John Miller, Eli Miller, Pete Miller; and one Daughter-In-Law, Virginia Miller.
He is survived by his two Sons, David Miller, of Seymour, Missouri, Mark Miller, of Green City, Missouri; two Daughters, Martha Strite (Paul), of Foxworth, Dorothy Coblentz (Norman), of Hartselle, Alabama; one Sister, Ada Kennedy, of Sarasota, Florida; twenty-five Grandchildren; thirty-six Great Grandchildren; one Daughter-In-Law, Mina Hostetler (Allen), of Seymour, Missouri; and one Sister-In-Law, Catherine Miller, of Cochranton, Pennsylvania.
Pallbearers will be Lyndon Coblentz, Daniel Strite, William Miller, Gerald Miller, Philip Coblentz, and Timothy Strite. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Strite and Nathan Strite.
