Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia for Robert Edward Hill, Jr., 96, of Columbia, who passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at The Grove. Interment will be at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Bill Morris will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Biloxi. He received 2 stars in the Philippine Liberation and 9 stars in the Asiatic Pacific. He retired from Columbia City School District. He loved his family and going to Church. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Dean Bullock Hill; father, Robert Edward Hill, Sr.; mother, Eliza Ford Hill; brother, James Henry Hill; sister, Louise Hill McDaniel.
He is survived by his son, Louis Hill (Angela) of Columbia; granddaughter, Emily Renee Hill Sandifer (Brent) of Columbia; grandson, Justin Kyle Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hill, Cole Robbins, Greg Robbins, Brandon Livingston, Roger Stringer, and Gary Hill.
Honorary pallbearer will be Trent Tolar.
