A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Pearl River Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Sandy Hook for Robert Eugene "Gene" Magee, 72, of Sandy Hook, who passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his residence. Interment will be at Pearl River Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Gerald Penton, Bro. Richard Magee, and Bro. Yancy Magee will officiate.

Mr. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Blanche Magee; Daughter, Angela Slocum; Brothers, Johnny Magee and Keith Magee.

He is survived by his Wife of 53 years, Brenda Magee of Sandy Hook; Son, Kyle Magee (Tonya) of Sandy Hook; Daughter, Kellie DeSoto (Titus) of Columbia; Brothers, Wallace Magee of Sandy Hook, and Don Magee (Mary) of San Antonio, TX; Sister, LaRheta Dunaway (Danny) of Tylertown; Grandchildren, Haley Stewart (Mark), Zachery Reagan (Gloria), Amelia Morris, and Sadie DeSoto; Great Grandchildren, Leanna Stewart, Landon Stewart, and Rachel Sanderson; Mother-in-law, Evelyn Brumfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Titus DeSoto, Clint McMurry, John Magee, Zach Bates, Mark Stewart, and Hank Stringer.
