Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Gates Road Baptist Church in Columbia for Regina Leigh Maxwell, 63, of Columbia, who passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Gates Road Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Bill Morris and Rev. Yancy Magee will officiate the services. Kelly Robbins will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home and from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Gates Road Baptist Church.

Regina was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Maxwell.

She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Broom Maxwell; brother, Michael Maxwell (Glenda); two nephews, Wesley Maxwell and Weldon Maxwell; niece, Morgan Martin (C J); great nephew, Reid Maxwell and great niece, Emery Maxwell.

Pallbearers will be Russ Stuckey, Dennis Robbins, Dewayne Stuckey, Marty Broom, Andy Robbins, and Jeff Foxworth.

Honorary pallbearers will be Willis Robbins, Stuart Walley, Marion Ray Broom, Don Broom, Charlie Broom, and Keith Stuckey.
