Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia for Rachel Evon Mills, 72, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, February 6, 2026at Touro Medical Center. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Dr. Gary Roberson will officiate the services.

The Mills family will receive guests on Friday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Hardy "Jack"Turnage; her Mother, Ellen Robbins Turnage; one Brother, Jack Turnage; and one Brother-In-Law, Jesse Broom.

She is survived by her Husband of fifty-three years, Michael Mills; her two Sons, Kevin Mills (Meagan), Adam Mills; two Brothers, James Turnage, Allen Turnage (Stacey); one Sister, Charlotte Broom; three Grandchildren, Hannah Mills, Leah Mills, Ellen Mills; one Sister-In-Law, Teresa Turnage; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.

Mrs. Mills will be carried to her final place of rest by those honored to serve as Pallbearers; they include: Adam Bass, Bob Peret, James Fagan, Jamison Robbins, Alan Niven, and Rodney Robertson.
