A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Patricia Jane Sanford, 62, of Sumrall, who passed away Friday, November 18, 2022. Rev. Casey Odom will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Patricia grew up in Columbia. After a short stint away from the area, she returned and spent most of her life in Marion County. Pat had an outgoing personality and seemed to never meet a stranger. During her working career she spent time with Keith's Superstores and Jackson Hewitt Tax Services. Her love for others was displayed at her kitchen table, which was always full of food for an army. In addition to her love for family, Pat also loved her dog & cat. She loved traveling Route 66, visiting National Parks, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her Daughter, Christina McCraney; her Parents, Gene & Jane Leeke Baylis; and her Birth Mother, Dale Hudson.

She is survived by her Husband, Mark Sanford, of Sumrall; two Daughters, Nichole Guy (Nathan), of Kokomo, Amber McCraney (Jon), of Columbia; one Step-Daughter, Toni Paine, of Riverdale, Utah; one Sister, Marisa Klinger, of Honesdale, Pennsylvania; and three Grandchildren, Morgan Guy, of Kokomo, Aaron Paine, Jaxson Paine, both of Riverdale, Utah.
