Patricia was born on February 13, 1935, in Terre Haute, Indiana. Pat graduated high school in Flint, Michigan in 1953. She then moved to Terre Haute, Indiana, where she worked at Standard Grocery and met the love of her life, Robert Kearschner. They were married for sixty years until his death in 2014. Patricia and Robert (Mr. Bob, as everyone called him) lived in Terre Haute, Indiana until 1972 when his company transferred him to Columbia, Mississippi. At that time, Pat began working at Dog-n-Suds. In the years to come, Pat could be found working at the Fred's store or in the deli at the Jitney Jungle in Columbia. She was a faithful Christian and an active member of North Columbia Baptist Church.

Patricia was one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. She enjoyed going to watch her children and grandchildren play sports. Every Friday night during football season, you could spot her and Dimple Christie peeking through the gate at halftime to watch their daughters perform with the drill team during the halftime show. Whether it was basketball, baseball, church softball or any other sport her children or grandchildren played, she would be in attendance. Her grandchildren called her "Grandma" and loved to go visit her whenever they could. One such example was that one of her grandchildren would ride his Power Wheels Jeep down the street and through the neighbor's backyard just to get to Grandma's house. It was also tradition on Christmas Eve for everyone to go to Grandma's house. It was one of her favorite times of the year, where she could be with her children and grandchildren for a night of food and celebration.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Robert Kearschner; her Daughter, Susan Bass; her Parents, Paul & Wilma Ferry Mead; one Brother, Eddie; and one sister, Norma.

She is survived by her two Sons, Robert Kearschner, II, of Columbia, Jim Kearschner (Linda), of Safety Harbor, Florida; her Daughter, Gisele Greenlee (David), of Columbia; one Brother, Paul Mead, of Largo, Florida; seven Grandchildren, Monica Watts (Charles), of Columbia, Jennifer Montgomery (Jeremy), of Jackson, Tennessee, Dustin Greenlee (Joanne), of Reagan, Tennessee, Jason Greenlee (Jennifer), of Thornton, Colorado, AJ Bass (Courtney), of Columbia, Jordan Kearschner, of Safety Harbor, Florida, Jacob Kearschner, of Safety Harbor, Florida; thirteen Great Grandchildren; one Son-in-law, Glenn Bass, of Columbia; and a host of Nieces & Nephews.

Ms. Kearschner will be carried to her final rest by those honored to serve as pallbearers: they include Jason Greenlee, Bryce Spivey, Dale Greenlee, Lavern Sorrell, and AJ Bass.
