A graveside service will be held at 3:30 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Darbun Community Cemetery in Kokomo for Ouida Faye Bracey, 80, of Kokomo, who passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Forest General Hospital. Interment will be at Darbun Community Cemetery in Kokomo. Rev. Glenn Nace will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ouida Faye, a woman of simple joys and immense love, found pleasure in the quiet moments of life. She loved the challenge of a crossword puzzle and the peaceful sight of deer in the yard. A dedicated fan of women's basketball, she would cheer on her favorite teams with enthusiasm. But above all else, her greatest love was for her family, and her happiest moments were spent simply being in their company.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Monroe Goar;  Mother, Hester Bond Goar;  three Brothers, Ivan Goar, Odis Goar and Luke  Goar;  Sister, Itaska Goar Broom.

She is survived by her Husband of 49 years, Larry  F. Bracey of Kokomo, MS;  Daughter, Kim Moore (Michael) of  Melbourne, FL;  Brother, Marlin Goar  (Debbie) of Petal, MS.

Pallbearers will be Paul Lewis, Zane Bastine, Chris Goar, and Michael Moore.
