Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church in Sandy Hook for Nicholas Homer Crain, 37, of Sandy Hook, who passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Marion General Hospital. Interment will be at Carson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Bro. Zach Smith, Bro. Carl Dickens will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.

Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Nadine Freeman, and Homer and Katie Crain.

He is survived by his wife, Kara Crain of Sandy Hook; sons, Luke Alden Crain and Levi James Crain both of Sandy Hook; parents, Randy Crain (Sharon) of Sandy Hook, Linda Thomas (Don) of Sandy Hook; brother, Jeff Crain (Wendy) of Sandy Hook; step-sisters, Tina McClendon (Greg) of Sandy Hook, Donna Thomas of Ponchatoula, LA; nieces and nephews, Cody Crain (Courtney), Abby Breakfield, Sarah Grace Breakfield, Caroline Breakfield, Jacob McClendon, Makenna Magee, Colin Magee, and Makayla Cooper; great niece and nephew, Aubrey Crain and Beau Carter Crain.

Pallbearers will be Cody Crain, Josh Breakfield, Greg McClendon, Eric Thomas, Jeron Dement, Jesse McMurry, Eli Rowell, and Steve Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Pittman and Blake Dement.
