Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Minnie Ruth Stringer, 94 of Columbia, who passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the The Myrtles Nursing Home. Interment will be at Improve Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Dariel Daniels will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Shorty" Stringer; parents, Stanley and Maudie Watts; son, Bill Stringer; brothers, Henry Watts, Harvey Watts, Junior Watts, and Allen Watts; and sisters, Mary Broome, and Ida Breeland.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ann Raybourn (Glenn) of Columbia; son, David Stringer of Columbia; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Raybourn, Charlie Stringer, Clint Stringer, Kyle Miller, Evan Miller, Cade Miller, and Chey Stringer.
