Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 01, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Maxine Stewart, 80, of the Salem Community, who passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Pastor Mark Wicker will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Maxine was a lifetime member of Walthall County. She loved her family and grandchildren immensely. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Mrs. Maxine really loved spending time fishing on the Pearl River. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Nolan Stewart; Father, Dewey Fulgham; Mother, Vermel Fulgham; one Son, Gavin Nolan Stewart; two Brothers, Eugene Fulgham, Johnny Ray Fulgham.

She is survived by her two Sons, Gary Stewart and Gavin Stewart; four Grandchildren, Christopher Stewart, Colby Stewart (Rhegan), Dymon Colgan (Chris), Cole Stewart (Brittany); nine Great Grandchildren and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
