Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Carson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Sandy Hook for Mary Ann Stogner, 53, of Sandy Hook, who passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Revs. Jerry Terrell & Darron Terrell will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Carson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
As a long-time resident of Marion County, Mary Ann was a graduate of Columbia Academy and Pearl River Community College, where she became a registered nurse. She spent time working at The Myrtles Nursing Home and Marion General Hospital in Columbia. Mary Ann enjoyed crafts, interior decorating, and had a love for animals, especially her Rottweiler, Josie Bear. As a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, family time was a cherished time for her. She always found time to cook for each of the ones she loved. Mary Ann played the piano, enjoyed reading, painting, and spending time outdoors in her flower beds. Her morning devotions with the Lord, strengthened her deep faith, as she was a faithful member of Dexter Pentecostal Church.
Stogner was preceded in death by her Parents, Sidney & Carolyn Burch; one Nephew, Justin Burch; and her Grandparents.
She is survived by her Husband of 4 years, William Brett Stogner, of Sandy Hook; two Daughters, Brittany Shinn, of Columbia, Lindsey Farris, of Columbia; three Sons, Cody Stogner, of Sandy Hook, Ty Stogner (Caley), of Clinton, Malachi Stogner, of Sandy Hook; two Grandchildren, Zoey Claire Tatum, of Clinton, Cruz Stogner, of Columbia; two Brothers, Lavelle Burch, of Columbia, Steve Burch, of Huntsville, Alabama; and one Daughter-in-law, Brandi Stogner, of Columbia.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Ham, Brian Terrell, Curtis Crane, Ty Stogner, Kenny Thomas, and Patrick Michelle.
