Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Mary Alice Broome, 85, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at The Grove. Interment will be at Faithway Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Everette Broome and Bro. Brent Robbins will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Broome; parents, Hugh and Mary Ford; son, Nelson Broome; grandson, Reggie Broom; great grandson, Brandon Stogner; two sisters; and four brothers.

She is survived by her daughters, Lois Broom (Rance) of Columbia, Kathy Broome of Ellisville; brother, Reggie Ford of Oak Grove; sister, Sarah Sullivan (Bobby) of Bassfield; grandchildren, Randy Broom (Haley) of Houston, Rhonda Spiers (Cayce) of Columbia, and Richard Broom (Michaela) of Sumrall; thirteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Doug Ford, Philip Ford, Richard Sullivan, Wayne Keen, Kevin Ford, and Norman Broome.
