Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Mark Anthony Stringfield, 68, of Petal, who passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Morgantown Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Austin Bahm will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

In his early years, Mark loved to play golf and had a quick comment for everyone. He was very generous and always ready to help those in need.  He loved cooking big meals and supporting the Dallas Cowboys but his biggest love was for his family and his cat, Ellie Mae.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Blanche Easterling Stringfield.

He is survived by his Wife, Tracy Dorie Williamson Stringfield; two Sons, Jeremy Rogers (Bridget) and Joe Rogers (Samantha); Father, Maxie Stringfield; two Grandchildren, Lawry Rogers and Joley Rogers; Sister, Cindy Smith (Goodwin); A host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bo Williams, Austin Stringfield, Ricky McDaniel, Farris Ross, Jimmy Stockstill, Chris Reinike, Scott Ross, and Ryan Speights. Honorary pallbearers will be Goodwin Smith, Danny Williamson, Jessie Sanford, Dennis Sanford, and Ronnie Shoemake.
