Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Marilyn L. McWhorter, 57, of Tylertown, who passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 Interment will be at Victory Methodist Church Cemetery in Tylertown. Bishop Tyler Knicely and Bishop Willard Powell will officiate the services.  Carrie Helm will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Randal Taylor; Mother, Maudie C. Taylor; one Son, Joe Glen Taylor; one Sister, Vanessa Ann Taylor; one Brother, R.C. Taylor.

She is survived by her Husband of 31 years, Michael  McWhorter; three Son's, Waylon Lewis, Jessie Lewis, Jeffery McWhorter (Jennifer);  three Sisters, Shirley Baughman (Houston), Adrian Graham (Clyde), Carolyn Freeman (Russell); one Brother, Randy Taylor (Judy); and a host of Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lucas Beal, Wayne Morgan, Cory Graham, Rusty Freeman, Chandler Beal, Samuel Tolar. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Crosby, Billy Woods, Seth Bounds.
