A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 for Marianne Purser Meredith Murphy, 87, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her first Husband Albert J. Meredith Jr. and her second Husband, George Greer Murphy, Jr.; Father, Elton "Red" William Purser; Mother, Francis Estelle Rushing Purser.

She is survived by her two Sons, William "Bill" Curtis Meredith and Albert "Al" Johnson Meredith, III; two Brothers, John Henry Purser and William Elton Purser; Sister, Barbara Collier; two Grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Wilhelm and Melissa Ann Crosby; and 5 Great Grandchildren: Meredith Kate Wilhelm, Charles David Wilhelm, Madyson Reece Crosby, Johnathan Lucas Crosby, and Jacob Johnson Crosby.
