Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Marguerite Davis, 84, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at The Grove. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Bryant Barnes and Bro. Tom Thurman will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Lucy Davis; brothers, J.S. Davis, Hezzie Davis, and Paul Davis; sisters, Blanche Pounds, Cleta Mae Barber, Eris Rowley, Lucy Dee Pittman, and Dot Buckley.

She is survived by her sister, Erma Hoover of Ravenna, Ohio; niece, Debra Lee of Foxworth, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Heath Lee, Nick Wiesen, Mike Williamson, Steve Rayburn, Chris Dement, and Wayne Regan.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Davis, Donald Pounds, Steve Rowley, Jerry Pittman, Clyde Pittman, Darryl Pittman, Ronald Buckley, Bruce Hoover, Brett Hoover, and Mike Hoover.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Columbia Building Fund.
