Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Pine Burr Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Columbia for Mae Evelyn Moody, 73, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 at her residence. Interment will be at Pine Burr Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. W.D. Hibley, Rev. Dustin Hibley, and Rev. Cody Moody will officiate the services. Candice Piercy and Casey Piercy will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Pine Burr Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Vernon Eugene Moody; Father, Ernest Piercy; Mother, Yuba Runnels Piercy, Sister, Marilyn Swilley.

She is survived by her two Sons, Matthew Moody (Ann) of Columbia, MS and Mark Moody (Lela) of Columbia, MS; two Daughters, Rebecca Peak (Billy) of Jayess, MS and Sarah Claburn (Kevin) of Eminence, MO; four Brothers, Steve Piercy of Purvis, MS, Randy Piercy (Billie) of Hattiesburg, MS, Craig Piercy of Purvis, MS and Jeremy Piercy of Hattiesburg, MS; Sister, Tammy  Guyton (Paul) of Purvis, MS;  ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren;  and a host  of nieces, nephews, and friends..

Pallbearers will be Micah Moody, Dakota Moody, Doug Callahan, Zachery Peak, Joe Peak, and Trace Claburn. Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Guyton.
