Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Pine Burr Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Columbia for Macie Margaret Johnson, 76, of Columbia, who passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Pine Burr Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery. Bros. W.D. Hibley & Dustin Hibley will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Pine Burr Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Recently settling in Marion County, Macie loved gardening and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Martin & Eula Butts; and one Son, Jason Johnson.

She is survived by her Husband, John Henry Johnson, Sr., of Columbia; two Sons, John H. Johnson, Jr. (Michelle), of Columbia, Bronson Johnson (Cathy), of Jayess; three Daughters, Shonna Miller (David), of Sumrall, Tonya Baccus (Donald), of Columbia, Sabrina Peak (Brad), of Lumberton; one Daughter-in-law, Brenda Hibley, of Columbia; one Brother, Bob Butts, of Florence; sixteen Grandchildren; and twenty-nine Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be the Grandson, John Johnson, III, David Miller, Michael Miller, Samuel Peak, Brandon Johnson, Alex Johnson, Jordan Johnson, and Colby Johnson.
