A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Sylvest Family Cemetery in Columbia for Mac Avon Sylvest, 89, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at his residence. Interment will be at Sylvest Cemetery. Bro. Mark McArthur will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April, 27, 2022 at Sylvest Family Cemetery.

Mac was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Nancy Sylvest; son, Jimmy Ryals.

He is survived by his wife, Elfriede Sylvest of Columbia, MS; son, Brian Sylvest (Tammy) of Eureka, CA, daughter, Teri Sanders (Gary) of Columbia, MS; grandsons, Eric Ryals (Jody) of Columbia, MS, Orry Sanders (Tina) of Columbia, MS, Nick Sanders (Charity) of Columbia, MS, Jacob Sylvest of Eureka, CA; granddaughters, Charlotte Sylvest of Eureka, CA, Erin Ryals (DJay) of Columbia, MS; great grandchildren, Kade Ryals, Kaleb Ryals, Kaylee Ryals, Karter Ryals, Hudson Sanders, Hayes Sanders, Ryleigh Sanders, Weston Sanders.

Pallbearers will be Eric Ryals, Kaleb Ryals, Kade Ryals, and DJay Mays.
