Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia, Mississippi for Lula Bea Lowe, 94 of Morgantown, who passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022. Interment will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Lewis Morgan will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

As a lifelong resident of Marion County, Lula loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a long-time member of Morgantown Church of God, and she was known for sharing her pound cakes and chocolate pies at church events and with sick in the community.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jabus Lowe; her Parents; J.F. Morgan and Lula Williamson Morgan; Step-Mother, Lena Carney Morgan; four Brothers, Roy Morgan, Sidney Morgan, Hezzie Morgan, Ray Morgan; three Sisters, Lexie Smith, Helen Butler, Emmie Beal; and one Daughter-in-law, BeaAnn Cox.

She is survived by one Son, Mike Cox, of Franklinton, Louisiana; one Daughter, Melinda  Langston (Randy), of Oakvale; two Grandchildren, Jessie Cox, Amanda Hunter (Jacob); four Great Grandchildren, Cole Mayet, Caden Hunter, Piper Hunter, Oakley Hunter; and one Great Great Grandchild, Aviana Hunter.

Pallbearers will be Cole Mayet, Jacob Hunter, Timmy Beal, Donnie Beal, Doug Graham, and Johnny Tarver.
