Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Luke Matthew Davis, Jr., 17, of Columbia, who passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Interment will be at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS. Rev. Randy Davis will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

From the time he was born he had a joy that refused to be hidden. Luke II never had a shortage of friends who wanted to spend time or even allow him to cut their hair. His dream was to one day own his own barber shop. However the biggest delight of his life was his son Luke III, he called him Lucas.

Luke II was a senior at Columbia High School. He was well known in the community for his skills as a soccer player and kicker for the Columbia Wildcats Football Team. He had a heart bigger than life itself and deeply loved his friends, teammates, teachers and especially Mrs. Robbins. Luke II was extremely proud of his Mexican Heritage and Culture.

Luke II is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Raul Gonzalez; his Grandmother, Tracy Oliver Davis.

Luke II is survived by his Mother, Claudia Davis; his Father, Luke Davis, Sr.; three Sisters Kathlynn, Victoria, Scarlett; his Son, Luke Davis III and the Mother of his baby, Jaslene Stringer; his Girlfriend, Roxanne Grimaldo; one Grandfather, Randy Davis; his Grandmother, Mercedes Jimenez; one Great Grandfather, Gerardo Jimenez; one Great Grandmother, Bobbie Lewis and a host of Uncles, Aunts and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Gonzalez, Irving Gonzalez, Leonel Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez, Jose Banegas and Collin Haney.
