A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia for Linda Cherylle Martin, 73, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Bro. Len Cooke will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

After graduating from PRCC Mrs. Linda began her career as a cosmetologist starting at Poole's and The House of Beauty.
Upon retirement Mrs. Linda began to share her love of art with others and was known in Marion County as a Barefoot Studio Artist, teaching adults and children. She was a certified Mary Owens Artist. She painted in Reno, Nevada, Honolulu, Hawaii, Buffalo, New York, and other cities in the south.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Pauline Knight.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Martin of Columbia; son, David McKenzie (Gabriela) of Columbia; daughters, Allison Domine (Corey) of Greenville, Margie Winnon (Paul) of LA; sister, Kay Thornhill (Mitcheal) of Foxworth; grandchildren, Katie Winnon, Wesley Winnon, David McKenzie II (Danielle), Alex McKenzie, Hayden Domine, Taylor Thornhill (Joseph), Amanda Domine, Jordyn Womble; great grandchildren, Blayden Domine, Ella Grace Domine, Conner McKenzie, Wyatt McKenzie, Jace Thornhill, Rhett Womble, and Charleigh Womble; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hollis, Alex McKenzie, David McKenzie II, Hayden Domine, Roger Carr, and Paul Winnon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Thornhill, Harold Bryant, and Jaran Hollis, Perry W. Martin.
