Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Leroy Stringer, 73, of Foxworth, who passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at his residence.  Interment will be at Lott Cemetery.  Rev. Rodger Moore will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Leroy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Levy and Letha Stringer; son, Stephen Ashley Stringer. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Darr Stringer of Foxworth, MS; sons, Robert Anthony Stringer (Jennifer) of Sumrall, MS, Seth Duane Stringer of Calera, AL; grandsons, Carson and Austin Stringer; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Carson Stringer, Austin Stringer, Cecil Parker, Trey Hobgood, Clayton Dykes, and Weldon Goldman.
