Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home for Lena M. Conerly, 94, of Columbia, who passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Brian Stewart will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lena lived a beautiful life of 94 years. She was surrounded by her family and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed gardening and decorating her home throughout the seasons.  Mrs. Lena and Mr. Bill owned and operated Conerly's Café and the Southern Grill from 1960 to 1983. Mrs. Lena dedicated her life to taking care of her son Earl and her husband Bill.

She was preceded in death by her Husband William "Bill" Conerly; Father, Berk Ginn; Mother Rosa R. Entrekin; one Daughter, Gail Boleware; three Brothers, Carl Ginn Sr., Billy Ginn, Donald Ginn; two Sisters, Pansy Kyzar, Helen Cranford; one Grandson, Leslie Purnell.

She is survived by her two Sons, William Earl Conerly, Tommy Conerly (Josie); one Sister, Darlene Cooley (L.D.); Grandchildren, three Grandchildren, Rusty Purnell, Kim Barnes (Scott), Kerry Foreman (Craig); five Great Grandchildren, Thomas Foreman, Anna Claire Foreman Meredith Barnes, Jack Barnes, Sanders Barnes; her loving Nieces Dottie McAllister (Randy) and Jeannette Hutchins (Jimmy Carl), Linda Ginn and a number Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers will be Craig Foreman, Scott Barnes, Thomas Foreman, Jack Barnes, Sanders Barnes, Ricky
Conerly.
