Page, Sr.
October 29, 1949 – July 13, 2024
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Larry Donald Page, Sr., 74, of Foxworth, who passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024. Interment will be at Page Family Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Marcus Kelly will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
Larry served his nation faithfully as a member of the United States Army before taking residence in Grand Isle, Louisiana where he worked a number of years in the oil field. He later settled in Foxworth, Mississippi and took pride in chicken and cattle farming. Many claimed he never met a stranger and could make anyone laugh. Always on the move, he enjoyed traveling to see family and friends and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Isaiah & Mable Bates Page; three Brothers, Tommy Page, Jimmy Page, Kendal Ray Melvin; and one Sister, Carolyn Sue Page Geiger.
He is survived by his Wife of fifty-five years, Peggy Foster Page, of Foxworth; two Sons, Larry "Donnie" Page, Jr. (Stephanie), of Larose, Louisiana, Shane Page (Chrisel), of Cut Off, Louisiana; one Daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Stringer (Andy), of Foxworth; three Brothers, Cecil Page (Sue), David Melvin, Alton Page (Lena); five Sisters, Elizabeth Pierson (Donald), Debra Olier (Richard), Sandra Spooner, Arlene Evitts (Jim), Darlene Evitts (Dale);thirteen Grandchildren, Meaghan Page (Nicole), Chelsey Page (Trevor), Kaycie Page (Colby), McKenzie Page, Sidni Page, Shasta Buckley (Brandon), Ryan Misener (Tiffany), Kayla Adams (Aaron), Kelly Howse (Rob), Austin Runyan (Casey), Emily Case (Brett), Ashley Hurst (David), Tyler Stringer; and twenty-three Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry "Donnie" Page Jr., Shane Page, Andy Stringer, Cecil Page, Allen Ray Edwards, Colby LaCoste, and Trevor Bouvier.
