Don was saved at an early age and was a lifelong member of Faithway Baptist Church. He loved God and his family very much. He was a very humble and patient man. His profession was in the refrigeration industry. However, there wasn't anything that Don wouldn't tackle.
For over 40 years, Don was well known for being gifted with the ability to fix anything. From electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, small engines, and even building his own house. Everyone who knew him knows that he was just a phone call away to helping you fix just about anything, and most of the time, he would just come fix it for you if he was within driving distance. And some may not know this, but he was also a talented artist. Most people considered him a "Jack of all Trades."
Don loved the mountains, riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, gardening, and working with his tractors.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Marion France Beasley; his Mother, Bobbie Broom Beasley; and one Niece, Melissa Overstreet.
He is survived by his Wife, Donna Beasley, of Sevierville, Tennessee; two Daughters, Tawanatha Reid (Bradley), of Tylertown, Bethany Morel (Jeff), of Clermont, Florida; two Sisters, Diane Broom (Lennis), of Columbia, Elaine Broom, of Bassfield; three Grandchildren, Bradie (Katie), Abigail Pezant (Ty), L.J. Reid, all of Tylertown; and three Great Grandchildren, Oren Reid, Oakton Reid, Nash Pezant, all of Tylertown.
Pallbearers will be L.J. Reid, Sidney Broom, Mark Broom, Mark Smith, Dewayne Broom, and Marty Broom. Honorary pallbearers will be Jet Broom and Ray Broom.
