Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Kathy Rebecca Broome, 71, of Ellisville, who passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Ellisville State School. Interment will be at Faithway Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia. Rev. Everette Broome will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert  Terrell Broome;  Mother, Mary  Alice  Ford Broome;  Brother, Nelson  Broome;  Nephew, Reggie  Broom;  Great Nephew, Brandon  Stogner.

She is survived by her Sister, Lois  Broom (Rance) of Columbia, MS;  two Nephews, Randy  Broom (Haley) of Houston, TX and Richard  Broom (Michaela) of Sumrall, MS;  Niece, Rhonda  Speirs (Cayce) of Columbia, MS;  twelve  Great Nieces and nephews; three Great-Great Nephews; and two Great-Great Nieces.

Pallbearers will be Randy Broom, Richard Broom, Norman Broom, Roger Ford, Doug Ford, and Wayne Keen.
