A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Columbia for Justin Wendell Dement, 32, of Columbia, who passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at his residence. Interment will be at Old Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Robert Cole and Bro. Doug Barber and will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Brushy Creel Baptist Church.

Justin loved his family and his friends dearly. He was quick to help those in need and took great pride in his work as a carpenter. He will be missed by all who loved him. He assured us he will see us again in heaven.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Francis Blakeney; and grandfathers, Carol Blakeney, and Wyatt Wendell Dement.

He is survived by his wife Kendra Davis Dement of Columbia; mother, Crystal Madison Dement of Baxterville; father, Steven Wendell Dement (Martha) of Columbia; daughters, Evie Ann Dement and Alexis Dearman both of Columbia; step-sons, Toxie Davis and Wesley Davis both of Columbia; brother, Jamie Blakeney (Kellye) of Oxford; sister, Amber Dement of Baxterville; step-brother, Garrett Montgomery of Sumrall; step-sister, Heather Montgomery and Amber Montgomery both of Sumrall; grandmother, Dean Robbins of Columbia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
