Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Juanita Colvin, 61, of Columbia, who passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022. Interment will be at Macdonia Missionary Cemetery in Spring Cottage. Nicholas R. Colvin will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Hathorn Funeral Home.

Juanita was born on May 20, 1961. She was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, a proud mother of two, and a wonderful Memaw to three beautiful grandkids. She was a bus driver for East Marion School for many years and did not take any disrespect from the students, just ask their parents. She loved and stood for her family. Always trying to help any and all, just like her mother (Ouida) and father (J.W) did. She was one that was always ready for anything. She was very adventurous, loved to ride roller-coasters and water slides, playing games on her phone, and playing with her dog (Lil Bit). She was a very fun loving lady. Juanita loved her husband, Gerald, for forty years

She was preceded in death by her Father; J.W. Johnson; Mother, Ouida M. Johnson.

She is survived by her Husband of 40 years, Gerald Colvin of Columbia; two Sons, John W. Colvin of Columbia, Nicholas R. Colvin (Anna) of Columbia; two Brothers, Billy "Peanut" Johnson of Columbia, Gary Bozeman of Covington, LA., one Sister Sherry Savois of Louisiana; one Grandson, Nicholas G. Colvin; two Granddaughters, Nevaeh Colvin, Analeigh "Boggie" Colvin.

Pallbearers will be J.J. Colvin, Sherry Savois, Billy Don Johnson, Anna Colvin, Nicholas R. Colvin, Nicholas G. Colvin, Joe Johnson and Scottie Askew.

Honorary pallbearers will be Analeigh Colvin and Neveah Colvin.
